Thought Id join in....

Xander 2 years old

Payton 6 years old Tori 4 years old.

Lily 3 weeks old.

So I thought I would join in on the blogging, since so many people are doing it.

I guess I can start with where we are at. I have 4 wonderful kids, one of which is in the nicu. We are on day 26 of being in there. It has been a long and trying ordeal. I have my good days where I can handle it all. Then the bad days where its just to tough.

Lily is doing good. She was born on Sep, 23rd at 9:04pm at 2lbs 12oz 15 1/2 in. She was born 11 weeks early. After having my water break at 28 weeks. I was then hospitalized on strict bed rest until I had her. When I went into labor with her I had a very high fever of 102. So I was getting an infection. So it was pretty much a rush to get her delivered.

She has been a fighter since though. She was breathing on her own for about the first week. Then she just go worn out with it so she has a little help with oxygen. Shes in an incubator until she can reach 4lbs. She is now at 3lbs 5oz. So we are close. They are telling us she should be able to go home for he due date. Which was Dec. 5th. So its just a waiting game.

Payton, Tori, and Xander are excited for her to come home. They havent been able to see her just through pics. They cant go into the nicu, and now with that H1N1 season they arent even allowed in the hospital. They see mom coming and going all day long. And I have my sleepless nights. Well I will have to write more later. Because I am on my way to the hospital. Here are some pics though.
